Sous-Sol 3 – Pop-Up Exhibition at the Deutzer Hafen

From October 10 to 12, 2025, the group exhibition SOUS-SOL 3 opens its doors in a vacant industrial hall at Cologne’s Deutzer Hafen.
Presented by Quartier am Hafen, the project showcases contemporary artistic positions in painting, printmaking, installation, photography, video, and performance for the third time.

A total of 30 artists from Cologne and across Germany will transform the former industrial space on Poller Kirchweg into a vibrant site for experimentation, exchange, and artistic encounters — for one weekend only.

Art in Motion – Performance & Music

The opening weekend begins on Friday, October 10 at 7 PM with the vernissage.
At 9 PM, Josefine Luka Simonsen presents her performance “Moving through Lipsi (together)”, exploring the interplay between body, movement, and sound.

Throughout the weekend, a diverse musical program invites visitors to stay, return, and experience the space in new ways.
Performances by Twit One, FIEDLER/BREZZO/OPEK, C:Mone, and others will create a rhythmic dialogue with the artworks on display.

In den kommenden Tagen werde ich das Q18 im Quartier am Hafen als Projektraum nutzen, um an meiner Lichtinstallation DROP zu arbeiten und Variationen aus dem Arbeitszyklus Rain in Kyoto zu präsentieren. I am pleased to announce that the Museumsnacht Köln will take place again. On Saturday, November 5, 2022 opens our studio house Quartier am Hafen from 7 - 1 pm. I will show you animations, light art and studies that were created in the context of the production of the sculptures.
In our studio house Quartier am Hafen alone, more than 30 artists will open their doors. There will be performances, music, encounters and access to all other museums and cultural institutions in this city. The ticket for the museum night costs 22 euros and includes admission to a total of 46 exhibition venues.
